In 64 the red swap matched the default Jigglypuff. However the Pokemon received several new hats.

Melee is a direct update for the original 12. It’s range is from cream to violet, with some violet ones having green eyes, though the eyes aren’t represented in Smash. Though Jigglypuff wasn’t playable in the first Stadium game, its model could still be seen using the Pokedex feature. Like Pikachu, the swaps are inspired by the nicknamed Pokemon in Stadium. It’s characterization is also inspired by the recurring Jigglypuff during the Kanto arc of the anime. Like Pikachu, Jiggs’ 64 design is a less detailed version of the Stadium model, combining attributes from the original games with the anime.
